ZRKV was founded in 2005 by Andrej Černe, who had dedicated most of his professional career to transport and logistics, forging a number of business connections throughout Central and South-Eastern Europe and Russia. As foreign partners turned to him more and more for help when their cargo vehicles ran into trouble in Slovenia and other countries of former Yugoslavia, Andrej realized that there was a gap in the roadside assistance market for those services and decided to start a company that would fill that gap.

Since the company is 100-percent owned by the founder, it is completely independent and autonomous in making business decisions.
